MONACO (Principality of Monaco) 14 March 2024 – Infront Moto Racing is delighted to announce the launch of a ground-breaking electric category in the world of MXGP. The MXEP will make its grand debut in 2026 as a support class to the FIM Motocross World Championship.
Gajser charges to podium at Round 1
Team HRC’s Tim Gajser got his 2024 MXGP campaign off to a strong start, taking the win in moto two, after placing fifth in race one to give him third overall. Combined with the qualification race victory, he sits just three points off the red-plate and well poised for another title challenge. Unfortunately, teammate Ruben Fernandez wasn’t able to line-up for the motos due to the lower left-leg injuries he sustained in the first turn qualification race incident yesterday.
Historic podium for Triumph in MXGP Debut
Monster Energy Triumph Racing’s MX2 racer Mikkel Haarup has written history by placing a stunning third overall at the MXGP of Patagonia-Argentina! Delivering a truly outstanding performance at the 2024 season-opener, the Dane followed up his first-moto fifth with a close runner-up finish in race two to secure his, and Triumph’s first overall podium result in the MX2 World Championship. For Camden McLellan, strong starts and improving moto finishes secured ninth overall with his day highlighted by placing sixth in race two.
Solid start for Redbull KTM in Argentina
World Championship winners and MX2 class defending #1s, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, launched the 2024 MXGP season with Andrea Adamo scoring a top five finish in the dark sandy volcanic soil of Neuquen for the Grand Prix of Argentina and the first round of twenty in the new campaign.
Kay De Wolf Powers to MX2 Win in Argentina
While it was an MX2-only affair for the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing Team in Argentina - due to MXGP rider Mattia Guadagnini having to sit out round one due to injuries sustained during pre-season training - Kay de Wolf and Lucas Coenen both put on incredible performances for the team in South America.
10th for Malcom Stewart in Birmingham
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Malcolm Stewart pushed on for a well-earned 10th-place finish at Birmingham's ninth round of the 2024 AMA Supercross Championship, continuing to gain strength as 450SX reached its halfway point tonight.
Vialle takes Red Plate going back to back
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - A second-straight 250SX East victory for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Tom Vialle saw him take over the series points lead following Birmingham's ninth round of the 2024 AMA Supercross Championship, as Chase Sexton raced to a top-five finish in the 450SX Class.
Season best 4th for Brown in Birmingham
Birmingham's ninth round of the 2024 AMA Supercross Championship was a solid one for Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GASGAS Factory Racing, where Pierce Brown recorded a season-best fourth-place finish in 250SX East and Justin Barcia rode to ninth position in the 450SX Main Event.
Lawrence and Vialle go back to back in Alabama
Supercross returned to Alabama for the first time in 40 years and Protective Stadium hosted its first Monster Energy AMA Supercross event. The red clay track featured a 308’ start straight, the longest of the season.
Gajser Victorious in Argentina Qualifiying
Team HRC’s Tim Gajser started 2024 exactly as he wanted, by winning the MXGP of Patagonia-Argentina qualification races and taking the maximum 10 points available to him. Unfortunately, teammate Ruben Fernandez was involved in an incident on the first corner and pulled out of the race, but after being assessed by the medical team, he will try to line-up tomorrow.
2025 KTM 250 SX-F Adamo Edition
In celebration of Andrea Adamo winning the 2023 MX2 World Championship, KTM unveils the KTM 250 SX-F ADAMO EDITION. After a superb run to the title that saw four moto wins and 19 additional podiums, KTM celebrates this success by applying some very special touches to a machine inspired by the bike that Andrea Adamo will ride to defend his cherished MX2 title in 2024.
